For this recording we asked Miles and Sarah to choose two compositions from the new album to perform using two NINAs, and of course Miles' Moog Theremin. Follow the links for all the details. thenightterrors.au

Matt Johnson with NINA
When we first announced NINA in mid-2022, Matt Johnson (Jamiroquai) was one of the first people to contact us expressing his interest. We’re thrilled to finally have Nina in the hands of Matt and he’s shared some recent videos with us. Check out Matt’s full Nina preview on his youtube channel. NINA: Not just a pretty face!
Matt has also created and shared a new Preset Bank containing 40 expertly crafted Presets. Download from the Presets page.
“Sounds incredible”
“Nina is a game changer, definitely in my top 5 of the synths of all time. It’s instant morphing possibilities, it’s ‘spin’ effect giving cool spatial feel, it’s automated recall which is the solution everyone has been wishing for. And whatsmore, this great little synth sounds incredible.”

NINA Sessions with
Close Counters
We asked Melbourne duo, CLOSE COUNTERS to choose one of their songs they thought would be well suited for a date with NINA. It was their idea to use two Ninas, and create a live improvised rendition of their song 'BREAK FROM IT' using only 2 x Ninas, their Nord Stage keys (as controllers) and a TR-8S drum machine.
The Recent 1.4 Firmware update adds MORPH as a Modulation destination, allowing you to modulate Nina’s MORPH function via any Modulation source such as Aftertouch or Expression. This means you can effortlessly move between two vastly different sounds using only your controller’s keybed/pads/expression control.
Check out MIKE PENSINI’s preview of Nina’s new 1.4 Firmware. A quick overveiw of the new features, and a look at how to use Morph as a modulation source. In this example Mike pairs NINA with the Expressive E Osmose running in MPE Mode. Check the latest release notes and updated NINA User Manual for more info.
